Damn shame. He didn't look like his old self in the last Auf Weidersein Pet Series.
Saw him a few years ago at his gym in brum, was a nice down to earth bloke. The local radio station (bbc wm) replayed an interview with him on Sunday and he said he was born and bred in Birmingham. The "country" accent was for the part in the tv program
