    Default Grand theft auto problem

Since you can get grand theft auto for free now I thought I'd give it a go. I cant quite get it to work though, it runs really slow and jerky. Its recommended to turn off the frame limiter to stop this, which does work but leaves the game running way too fast. Any ideas on how to sort it?

    Thanks for the response

I've tried putting the graphics on full resolution and 32 bit colour, it barely slows it down at all.

    I'm using a Geforce4 440MX 128MB.
