i find that hard to belive m8ty as carphone warehouse clearance items lists the o2 xda 1 for �199 , its like comparing a metro to a ferrari , but if u can get em that cheap get your self one

They are well worth it, I have an orange SPV m1000 same inside as the XDA2.

Orange are selling them for �350 with contract on 200 minutes a month. talk to them nicley at customer services and they will give you one free if you mention going to the 3 network.

Thats how I got mine.
