    Tech Backup/image software?

    Just got a new HD and have installed all the kep apps and now want to create an image and burn to disk for future use...

    What app recommendations do you guys have for me to use?

    Just installed and used Ghost and it was very straight forward... managed to get my core system onto 4 CD's. All I have to do now is create a ghost boot disk and Im sorted! :thumbs

    Whenever you want to revert back to your ghost backup,just pop in the first ghost disc(that's if your machine still work's!) and right click on the first part of the ghost image and select "restore" and follow on the step's,the ghost boot disc is very handy if your machine has gone down completly.

    Does it make the 1st disk a bootdisk???

    I will make a boot disk (floppy) anyway...

    get a DVD burner and have it all on one bootable DVDR.

    Have got one but when I went through the options to create the image it didnt give me the option!! Said that it would choose the drive to burn the image... :|

    Anyway it has been done now and I have made a boot disk aswell...
