Info Whats the best Photo paper to use?

I have just bought a R800 photo printer, and have a HP R707 camera and would like some feedback from you all on what in your opinion is the best quality photo paper to use.
There is that much choice about, and it is not the cheapest stuff around to go around trying :nono

    Thanks

I find the ILFORD CLASSIC PEARL 240 Gsm gives outstanding results on epson printers and is the closest feel to real photographic paper available...you can get it from PC World (if they still sell it) priced around £12-£15 for 25 sheets..Iwill point out though i only use this for special photos due to the price..

if your gonna print out a fair few photos you mite as well just take em on a CD to Boots

its arround 12p a print there , considering your only gonna get 2 pics per photo sheet with homeprinting and what with the high prices of paper its way cheaper.

Epson papers generally give excellent results with Epson printers. Like zalman007 I also like the ILFORD CLASSIC PEARL, but as the R800 uses pigment based Ultrachrome inks I'm not sure what the results would be like.

Epson Ultrasmooth paper is supposed to give outstanding results according to this review.
