Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Paul Ince has delivered a scathing criticism of Henri Camara, believing the striker is disloyal after engineering a loan exit from the club.
Ince believes that Camara did not deserve his player of the year award, despite his impressive form in the second half of the season, and is disgusted that he did not repay the faith of manager Dave Jones.
"I don't like the way Camara went about all this," Ince told the Daily Express. "I'm disappointed by him.
"Camara was voted player of the season, something that I thought was wrong.
"For the first four months he couldn't hit a barn door, but the manager kept faith with him having given Camara his chance in this country in the first place after nobody in France would have him.
"Then he turns round and does this to the club.
"There are ways to go about doing things and you don't treat a club that has looked after you in the way he did.
"The players have at Wolves have been distracted by what has happened with Camara, but it is my task now to get them focused on the job we've got on our hands to get promotion.
"We began to cope well with The Premiership towards the end of last season and most of that squad is still here."
