    Help Bit Basic?

Hi all, ive not been on this forum for a long time, good to see its doing so well.

My son has a PS2 and has asked me to connect it to the internet so he can game against others.

As I have been out of the loop for a long time could someone give me some advise, how do I do this?

I have 2meg broadband connection on a 16 port hub and a firefall distributing DHCP

Do I need to connect it to a PC to connect to the internet or can I connect it outside a PC.

In either case what sort of cable do I need, I am assuming USB to ethernet? and how do I connect the ps2 to the internet will the PS2 establish its own connection once attached to the network?

Pros and cons of different types of cables, if any and where to get them.

    Thanks in advanve

buy the ps2 ethernet adaptor connect it to the switch and as long as your main pc has internet sharing enabled you'll be fine
