Half loading

HI,

Ive got a 4001 box and it powers up ok, although wont actually come on...the standby light is on but the box wont come on when pressing standby button.....I can get into the eng menu and can look at pages 1-4 or going backwards till 13.....then it just hangs....

Any ideas anyone?

sounds like the box is f***ed to me, id look around for another one tbh m8

I think U need to force the box to update the sw again (if it will) or flash the chips back to pre LCR3 sw and let it update again automatically.

Can you force ypdate a 4001 box??....I dint think you could...Its noe coming up with the NTL home logo on the white background on the TV, even comes up with the great, sorry to interupt your viewing message...just wont come outa standby...i think the box is fooked...
