Corrupt Box

I have a 1010 digi box which only lets me watch CH5 the engineers menu says that the tuning parameters are corrupt and have forced updated the box and reverted back to cr1 but no joy.

Can you take out the AT49LV1614 chips and put spare IC's in their place to get it working or is there another way.

You firstly need to get the ird and bk details for your box and prog these on to a card.

if you get 2 werking atmels from another box then yeah you can replace them with the chips, but u need to read the new chips to get ur bk/ird first.
then stick the chips in and make a card
