these are book prices as per current sept book, not sure what glasses guide gives but you can guarantee it will differ..if you looking to part ex it for a new car i've heard retail isnt flying at the mo and you should be able to get a good deal, failing that private sale around the £4750 -£5k mark. i think a dealer would look to retail at around £5495 i only deal with auction cars so i'm not to up on retail prices.

if you can sell privately & buy new car with cash you should be able to get some extras thrown in, a friend of mine sold his polo and bought a new polo from vw dealer, paying in whiole in cash he got about £1k worth of extras chucked in.
