Stuck On Tune (HELP!)

I was unplugging something out of the back of the TV Cabinet today and i accently yanked on the coax going into the box

Out comes the cable with the F Connector still attached to the box

****! so i bend the Coax so its straigt again and put the F connector back on , but into box

and now its sticl on Tune

and NTL Blagh Sorry to interupt message


I need help the box is very new, i will pay someone for repair etc (its a 4001 Modded with a Fun)

one thing to try first is to power up the box holding the left and right keys on the front of the box , the box skips some of it's startup sequence and can help skip the tuning problem.

I think with those 4001/4010 you will get a tune on the display when no signal check your 'F' connector connection dodgy to me :|

Cut down the Coax a bit work again now :thumbs , thx harry

But the cable connection plug is very loose now , any ideas how i can make it hold straight again? im worried about completley wrenching it off!

but a new connector and remake the end of the cable, you can get them from b&q etc.
