how to txt abroad?

im moving to australia for a while and I was just wondering if anyone knows how my m8s can txt me there,

If you are taking your UK mobile and number with you, they just text you as normal. You would need to add the international access code + the UK country code (44), then leave out the first 0 of their number to text back, its much easier if you replace the 0 at the start of their numbers in your phone book with +44 , that way you just text them as normal, no matter what country you are in.

So if their number was 07966 xxx xxx, store the number as +447966 xxx xxx, works in UK as normal, but saves hassle anywhere else you visit. The + is usually found with a long press on the 0 key or * key, or perhaps repeated presses of either of these keys.
