portable dvd player

anyone know of a good portable dvd player that can play all dvd backups etc vcd/svcd, i got about £200 to spend on one for my little brother, can anyone suggest a website to get one from thanks

Try richer sounds - www.richersounds.co.uk , I use to work for them, they r a bstard to work for and they rip off customers some times, but you will get a good bargain. Dont buy off the website always go in store and ask them whats there best price they can do today.

also there machines r multi-region so u dont have to bother looking for a hack.

The yamada's r good dont b put off by the name , they r a decent make. the dvdr8000 recorder got a 5* review in what hifi mag.

I think argos r doing portables too for cheap but make sure u can get a multi region hack for it first if your playin backups.

argos do 2 portable dvd players (different screen sizes) far as i know they play everything (except multi region) prices are 100-150

mine is one of those generic sampo brands and its lion battery lasts about 150mins on a full charge with the backlight on and sound turned up, luckily i bought a spare and combined they last about 3 movies worth at least. i've never realy needed longer than that.

i was thinking exactly same thing.. if my brother were to spend £200 on me I'd have to lend him £195 of it first..
