Moto v500 wont charge.

Hey, i got a moto v500 here, was working fine.. now me battery has died. i stuck a charger in it and it aint doing nothing. just stays black. if i press the on button, it lights up, then goes back up, i got the message 'unable to charge' once, but now nothing. any ideas?

what u think, is it the charger... or the fone? :|

I know this sounds stupid but have a look at the charging points on your phone and on the charger I have had people bring handsets to me not charging and its been as simple as cleaning sh1t out of the charging points.

finaly got it doing something this morning... but i had to fiddle with it for ages and have it in at a cetain angle.

My V600 has been doing the same recently. Never thought of checking for dirty in the charging holes. Makes sense as it is usually a case of a bad connection.

Another thing to look at is if the cores of the cable are fractured/broken inside the insulation.Holding them at a certain angle makes them work sometime! Had a frien with an ancient Philips & that was the problem!
