Programer not found

I got my minisdk this morning, downloded distancev3, made my hex file, got the latest hex from modshack, downloaded multiprog 170 and it doesnt find my programmer.

any ideas? or any other software is should try to see it that can find it?

just tried nagraed it and that can read from the programmer so it definalty works.

Grabbed multiprog for the minisdk from clanzers site, currently proggrammin my first fun card, fingers crossed.....

i dont think it will program fun cards, you will need a seperate programmer for that, £5 on ebay

Actually you are wrong because i have programmed a few with it.

And makaveli you have the right software now. certain ones dont work with it.

It works, i ve just done one, it didnt work though, im just about to go through the guide again slowly and see where i went wrong.

The minisdk does all cards, reads roms and has a mod installed so it can do titanium cards, it has rave reviews on modshack, thats why i bought it.

Still can quite suss it though, im using modshacks bk dtabase to give me a hex file for distANCE, then i using that i save my self a hex and load that plus the september hew from modshack into multiprog, hit prog and it works.

My box keeps saying mute card?

Im going to try and do the rom card, see if that works.

And makaveli you have the right software now. certain ones dont work with it.

i thought makaveli was using a phoenix programmer on his minisdk :|

Dingle what do you mean, the mini sdk can be both a phoenix and a smartmouse according to reviews etc.

Right i figured out the reason why the first 12 or so attempts didnt work, i was putting the fun cards upside down in the socket on the box.:|

However im still struggling, when i write the hex'x to the card the box tells me either no card is inserted or mute card.

Do you think its because i have the programmer set to the wrong mode, theres a choice of phoinix or smartmouse and 3.59, 6 and 20 mhz options, what should i be using?

If you use the MiniSDK program itself you don't need to worry about setting modes. When you launch MiniSDK just select launch MiniSDK or whatever it's called, then select the card type from the drop down on the top left and away you go.

trying the minisdk app and a modshack tutorial on it at the moment mate.

****! Followed the minisdk tut step by step and the card still wont do **** all, keeps telling me to insert my smart card into the slot:annoyed:.

Gonna give up for a while and try again later, its starting to wind me up.

Ok ive used X2Nceepgen and distance3 to make the interneal eeprom hex, using the ird from the database on modshack.

Ive used every attempt in minisdk 2.72 combined witth the candw sep hex file.

Every card gives me the same results, mute card or insert card messages.

My ird is XX XX XX XX, could someone please make me a hex to try so i can check it against mine to see if thats where im going wrong.

Used the X2 CW hex with the date changed and it worked first time.
