Choices DVD/Game Rental Store.

On Friday I wanted to rent 'Tiger Woods 2005' for the Xbox so I could Dump sorry Try before I bought it.

I have recently re-located (I was been persued by some geezers who were trying to break my skull open.... just kidding, i'm wanted by the police.........just kidding I AM THE POLICE...... just kidding - ok i'll stop now!). I am not a member of any store and the girlfriend has an outstanding fine with Blockbusters so I decided to try Choices! It looks good from outside, plenty of offers and deals on!

So I get's to the counter and asks the nice gothic looking lady with her cheek pierced (for real, she was chewing it so it looked like her face was caved in!) if I could join. She was polite enough and gave me the form to fill in. Whilst starting she explained that it was a �10 joining fee!! �10! Oh but you do get 50p vouchers off future rentals!!!

I looked at her and said I would just pop to the cash point for the �10! Obviously I never went back! I bit the bullet and went to blockbusters. I was able to join with a letter from NTL (wasnt even a Bill, the lass behind the counter asked me who NTL were??), no mention of the Girlfriends fine or a joining fee and I walked out with Tiger Woods on a 2 night rental for �3.75!

Bloody �10 Joining fee!!! Really!! You can buy a DVD for that! For Gods Sake! Am I annoyed! Does it sound like it! What a cheek! What a god damn cheek!!

The moral of the whine, dont go anywhere near bloody Choices DVD and Game Rental stores!

I've been with choices for ages... Unless they've changed it, I think the tenner joining fee covers you for any damages/losses or something like that...It would be free otherwise...

What do blockbuster do if you fck up a hired dvd??

They charge you the ex rental cost for it if they have one or if its a new release they'll charge you what they paid for it, so like �60 for a newly released dvd/video or �40 for a game.

How are you going to Fcuk up a DVD. Only a woman would do that lol.

The staff in blockbusters dont care, When i joined on saturday morning some woman brought a DVD back saying it didnt work and got a full refund. The girl didnt even check it lol.

Free movie rental for that person then!!

lol, can't you just replace it for a fiver from your local d'wee'd man.

Blockbuster are better though for long term xbox trials :whistle
