Boot Disc?

I'm having problems with Nero, I'm wasting a lot of cd's due to "buffer underrun." I'm fairly sure this is due to memory problems,- I've allways got loads of processes going on and was wondering if I could make some kind of boot disc just for when I want to burn cd's.
Any help?

Forgot to say, I'm using XP and the latest Nero.

Update your ASPI layer.

There are loads of tools to do it on the web. Nero info tool will tell you if you have already got it installed and what version. I had the same problem and it was sorted by this.

Have a read HERE and try it. There should be a backup function in the s/w so that you can roleback if it doesnt work.

If you are willing to spend a bit of time you can learn how to build your own Live Windows XP boot cd.

This cd can contain, as you seem to wish it, cd/dvd burning utilities.

If you do want to go the bootdisc approach then this will be like a super boot disc.
