trying to help one of our members

one of our df members needs his funcard sorted i am using the infinity usb, now i have done my own no problem, i have the supposid ird and bk, however when i use rst or dtstance, no matter what i do i get various messages such as card invalid, you are not authourised to view this channel, please ensure your catd is inserted correctly.
i want to check the bk can someone pm me and i will give you the ird to check in the bk data base, it is the only thing i can think of is that the bk is incorrct

Its all sorted m8,,, he wanted a boxkey finding on the database. But the box was a 4000 box.

big thanks to all who tried to help, not lookin good,
i do have the ird and a bk' the person who originally did the card wrote the numbers on the bottom, however i have tried both rst and deviance both without success, i did my own card and it works so don't know what else to try, i am open to ideas

If youre certain that you are progging the card ok then it must be wrong details. Chip needs removing to extract details if this is the case.

On the 4000 series, you can get a scart to serial connector and use libby to get BK. Think theres an issue about cr3, don't think it works on them!

Worth a go.

I was wondering if someone could kindly help me. If i PM my IRD to someone could you please check the database to see if the Boxkey is there. I Have a P*c* Di1000 box with a Rom 11 revBOC, I cant read the ROM 11 cause i only have a smartmouse i don't have the correct card reader.
