    Default Bit Torrent Client opinion

Does anyone have any experience with BitSpirit ? If so, is it any good/better than other clients?

Azureus runs java which kills your machine... ABC is a descent tool which allows you to manage your upload speeds and doesnt take up too much processor...

I presonally like Bit Tornado, it's small and isn't a cpu hog. It has speed limits for all connections. Very easy to configure and use. You can get it HERE :thumbs

As I only 'torrent' when I'm away from my machine, it slowing everything isn't really an issue. Used to use Bit Tornado, but like the extra features of Azureus. Especially the safepeer plug in, which stops some IP's that Peer Guardian doesn't.

Never tried ABC, but have never really heard great things about it. Unless peeps can convince me otherwise........

After using several clients, I have to say that Bit Tornado is my preferred choice. Easy to configure and doesnt hit the cpu too hard while in use.

Azureus seems to be the best feature wise at the moment.
The Java platform isn't that processor hungry, more memory really. you shouldn't notice a thing if you half 512mb of ram. unfortunately it is the way with java - crossplatform uberness at the expense of non platform specific optimised code
