Default Hah.. One more problem - Burned DVD.

Ok, back when I wanted to get away with burning Xbox ISO to DVDs, I burned off a couple ISOs and then deleted them.

What I have now is my DVDd that only get Dirty Disc errors when I run them (I have one of the first Xbox versions that apparently came with a glitchy DVD-Rom).

Is there a tool out there that lets me rip the ISO (or even the files) back off the DVD?

I tried a few programs that were supposed to connect to my Xbox over my network and rip the files from the drive itself, but it never works right.

I don't care much to fix the dirty disc problem as I *FINALLY* got a new hd in my xbox with plenty of space to put files on it.

Xbox Re: Hah.. One more problem - Burned DVD.

There are 2 programs that i use that will rip the disc onto the xbox HD.
    1) PxHDDLoader
    2)DVD2XBOX.

There are tutorials for absolutely everything on www.xbox-scene.org if you get stuck.

    Hope that helps ya out.

that wont help him in the slightest.

he needs to ftp the contents from his xbox hd to his pc and then burn them with RecordNow max or simular.

@ stooz the dirty disk error of games from HD can be caused by several things.

    1. the clock settings not being right in the ms dash.

    2. the games might be english language rips and you may have your ms language set to another language.

3.some games need hd fix patches because the names are too long and get bugered up on transfering to hd.

Dirty Disc Messages can appear if you have your XBOX set to the wrong Region from the game release also.

i.e. some NTSC-U games running on PAL Xbox must be ran in NTSC mode else they'll give the error.

Can't think of any games like that off the top of my head think there was some NBA one, but a few NOPs in the right place got round that problem.

I remember the PAL Time Splitters 2 wouldn't run on NTSC-U Xbox's so you had to either fix the Image for NTSC or use Video Mode Selector. utility.

Use Enigmah-x Video Mode Selector to change the EEPROM of your box to NTSC or vice versa depending on the country the release was from.
