I have extensive experience interpreting dreams so hopefully I can give you an insight into your subconcious.

The first thing that struck me is you say you awake laughing, this coupled with the prominence of socks initially leads me to think there was once a pear tree in your Grandma's garden or quite close by. But upon further analysis and the mention of onions covered with semen took me down another path completeley.

The awaking laughter is a sign that you do remember someone fondly, whereas the socks in fact are a red herring in dream terms and they are there only to serve as a cover for the real stars of the show, the feet, as symbolised in your dreams by onions. The way an onion peels is the same way an old womans feet peel when she's suffering from crabs and this could be an indication of someone in your past, maybe an elderly lady? Possibly an elderly relative who has suffered from a terrible sexually transmitted disease?

The plot thickens though with the introduction of semen onto the 'onions', semen in dream terms is actually translated as something else entirely, usually when semen appears to us in dreams it actually represents our guilt or regret at something in our past.

So, to summarise;

You've shagged yer gran, given her crabs and hate yourself for it.
