Dumb Question i'm sure...

Had my modded xbox for about a month now, and as my DVD player is being repaired I thought I would watch a DVD on my xbox, I put Spiderman 2 DVD in and it didn't work, said something about inserting a DVD something or other into the controller or something :nowords:

What am I doing wrong?

you need a xbox remote kit, or download one of the dongle free dvd players for xbox

basically the same answer as above.

THe Xbox dosnt play DVD movies natively - you need to either have a Xox remote control and dongle (which contains the DVD player software inside it) or you need DVDX 2.0 or similar whch can inly be put on modded Xboxes and allows DVD playback without the remote control - XBMC also allows DVD playack.
