    Question Plank on eBay

I sold a genuine Vivienne Westwood jumper on ebay to someone who has turned out to be a complete tool. I sent the item and he received it and got in touch to say it is obviously NOT real. We are talking about a jumper that I paid £90 for last year. Obviously I am not going to refund the pr1ck, what can he do barring give be bad feedback? When I sold it I didnt list it as being real or fake. I have already replied and said no as the item is mint and is real.

I've copied in his response below...

hi I have just collected the item, vivienne westwood black jumper. However I can clearly see that this is NOT a genuine one. So I want my money back. I am going to send the item back as soon as you confirm this event. I will not leave any negative feedback or report about you to Ebay If you smoothly manage this problem. I hope I can hear from you soon.

Dude, the geezer has obviously tried your jumper on and realised that he doesn't like it on him and regrets spending the money. Tell him to leave bad feedback (which you can counter/comment anyway) and to kiss your ass.

Do not refund him, If he send it back to you then charge him for return postage. If it really is real then he hasn't got a leg to stand on. Stick to your guns

how did he pay you for it m8? if it's by paypal he can report you to them & they may retrieve the money from your account.
But he sounds like a right pr1ck, tell him to go play with himself & as stated before if he leaves neg feedback you then have your say

If I get something like this I always ask the user to leave bad feedback. I then keep sending emails requesting bad feedback every few hours.

I've never got bad feedback from people this way as they most likely think I'm some kind of nutter (they could be right).

Bad feedback doesn't really matter on this unless you sell lots of designer name stuff or you don't have much feedback to start with.

Surely when you purchase something on e-bay,good are sold as per discription.unless the goods are damaged or of a poor quality then maybe you are entitled to a refund..but like someone else said maybe it doesnt fit, cause pic's
can be deceiving and maybe wasnt what he thought it was.and now trying to use the Fake crap..but if you did list the item as real/genuine the maybe he would
have a cause to be pissed off.....but would basically tell him politely,:censored off..

Tell him you will refund it providing he pays for your listing fees, final values fees and all other costs plus a 10% handling fee.

If you have tracking info paypal wont listen to any claim, have to agree with whats been said so far, tell him to go **** himself, and call his mam a slag for good measure.

Seriously though, i dont know why people bother with ebay, it sounds like a nightmare.

Even if you empty your paypal they will still pay the guy, put your account into negative and then paypal will persue you to pay up!
If you ain't got a tracking number, send the ****er an empty package or something, then you have a tracking number. If he does go to paypal they will ask you for a tracking number, in which case you just provide that one.

I've heard stories that trying to get anything from paypal is like trying to get blood from a stone. They very seldom care about discrepancies and refunds, once the transaction is done... its done. Plus their claims form is super huge and a pain in the ass to complete. I really can't see paypal siding with this dober who is claiming its a false jumper.
