ok I have a renault/philips 22 dc 481/62

I called my local renault dealer and they say the code is 9760

I've tried it and it dont work I called them back and they just told me to try again to no avail, they now want me to bring it into the garage so they can try.

I will take it in if I need to but does anyone know if its the right code there giving me?

if you had posted the serial number to enter into a calc someone may have been able to answer you

I am a newbie at this car stuff so here goes, the number on the side of the unit is

9022 2148 1629

but there are lots of other numbers all over the unit I am going to post these probably to my detriment

The correct serial number is engraved on the side of the radio RN481xxxxxxx
