Funcard need reprogramming?

Last night all of a sudden the screen went blank as I was watching Sly news.I fiddled with the funcard and I got message to get in touch with cust services.I pulled the plug and restarted the box but to no avail.I get BBC and other free to air so does this mean that my funcard will have to be reprogrammed?Any advice guys will be much appreciated,thanks.

It is possible that your fun needs to be reprogged, That said I had a similar porb and this was caused by the stb over heating I had bbc 1,2 itv ect and the rest where black no pic and no sound the short term answer was to unplug the stb till cold and reconnect, it only seemed to happen when my stb was hot.:nowords:

Doesn't take much effort to reprog a FUN so why not give a go to see if it fixes the problem.:nowords:

sounds like your fun may need redoing, co's if it was heat related, it wouldn't tell you to call customer services.

did you ever find the source of the problem?

the same thing happened to mine today. all the channels off, giving an error when tryin to view em except for 1-4, itv2, bbc news, cbbc and cbeebies. it gives me the error code B1010 which as i understand it is to do with incorrect customer information. sounds like it might be the card needin to be re-done but thing is, it did this last week at about 2am. i couldnt be arsed with it and just went to bed and in the morning everything was fine

so yea, did you sort it mate?

Sorry should have posted earlier to thank peeps for their advice. I had to have the card reprogged and since then I have had no problems.

If you're in an ex C&W area then there's been a key change as of today hence why you may have lost your channels.
