I'm about to be banned from a forum I sometimes use , turns out it's not for use by members of the general public only for Trade Union rep's and not members.
The guy who is going to ban me has been really nice about it I must say. lmao
Hi John,
I'm one of the moderators for unionreps.org.uk, and I noticed your post on the
bulletin boards. Unfortunately our site is limited only to discussions for union
representatives, and not for the general public.
I've suspended your account to the site for the time being. If you actually are
a GMB rep at Anglian, please could you let me have your correct membership
number? I can then update your profile for you and reactivate it. Otherwise,
I'll have to delete it, sorry.
Please accept my apologies if you are a union rep - I'll reinstate your account
when we can check against the number.
For your info, I'm attaching a reply to your question below from another
community member, which looks pretty spot-on and should give you some pointers
on where you can get more information. You might also find our public site
www.worksmart.org.uk useful for employment law questions.
So have any of you lot been banned from a forum and what for?
