F*ck me, we looked like Scotland in disguise out there tonight.
that was utter crap!

come on we wernt as bad as that..... :whistle
well...................maybe
The result flattered England as well.
Those spanish fans were well out of order, the Spanish FA will have a big headache tomorrow.
in my opinion there were three players that just werent up to it and caused a nmajor problem, this was compounded by the fact that they all played in midfield and to make matters worse the only player who was playing well lost his head for 10 mins after that pen was awarded.
our midfield could not seem to hold or pass the ball and did not get it to the strikers enough.
Well lets face it a few players in that England team are overpaid and overrated buffoons...Butt is mediocre, Hargreaves gets picked cos he plays for the biggest club in Germany and Upson coming on as sub ffs....same problem as they've had for years, the midfield...laughing stock :nono

Saw the last 10 mins of the of the 1st half and couldnt stand anymore.
Someone should slap Rooney and tell him that he is now playing in the bigboy league...

It wasn't just him to be fair though he didnt help himself.
I think rooney just vented the anger felt by all of the england players.
Just his youth showing (although i did find that the only amusing thing that happened in the game)
And i agree we really did look like scotland out there, christ next we'll have eriksson for the chop and step up berti ??
SUNDERLAND AFC - THE NORTH EASTS ONLY PREMIERSHIP TEAM
We played s*ite, although perhaps it was understandable with the hostile enviroment and the racist abuse, totally unacceptable. :nono
;)
I have to disagree with that. The majority of those players and particularly the black players will have had to endure those kinds of scenes on more than one occasion in the past and if not (possibly in the case of Phillips) they are professional footballers and they would have known the best way to stick it to that portion of fans doing the noises was to batter Spain off the park. No, england's problem remains that of motivation and having no real leader on the pitch, both of which stem from the man in the dugout.Originally Posted by Schott
