Tarantino update on next movie

I suppose you could argue that he is sticking to his guns and not going 'commercial' but I think this is a bit extreme :nowords:

Total Film have reported, straight from the horse's mouth, that Tarantino's next film will not be Inglorious Bastards but rather "another kung fu that's gonna blow your asses off". Tarantino was quoted as saying:

"Inglorious Bastards, not yet, man. My next movie is gonna be another kung fu that's gonna blow your asses off. Everyone still thinks I'm doing Bastard's next, but before I do that I want to do something much smaller... The next movie will be in Mandarin! I enjoyed shooting all the Japanese stuff in Kill Bill, so much so that this whole film will be entirely in Mandarin. If you're not up to watching it with subtitles I really want to do a full-on dubbed version. Maybe shooting two Kill Bill movies has spoiled me but **** it – sue me!"

No release date or other details have been set, although it has been rumoured that the film's shoot will kick off in a year's time.

I liked pulp fiction, reservoir dogs. Both Kill Bill Volume I and Volume II were pretty bad. The only scene was the good, was the guy who pays to sleep with Uma Thurman and drives the Pussy mobile. His work has gone down hill. Everything is that Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon flying thru the air.

Sorry but I think the guy has the money to do exactly as he pleases and if his next project is in Mandarin good luck to him. It is the most used language on this rock anyway and personally I like subtitled films.

I have never taken an immidiate liking to any of his films, but they seem to creep up on me. The only film of his (mainstream) i do not like it Kill Bill Vol2.

I hope he can bring something new to his Madarin film, i did not feel Hero was a good, very cinimatic but not good. House of flying daggers certainly went beyond Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon in my book, that film was great.
