    What was it taken with ? I only ask because my digital camera takes rubbish pictures directly into the sun.

    nice picture, id like it more is there wasnt as much foliage blocking the sunset though, but overall its pretty nice. have you posted this in a photography forum aswell? pretty sure ive seen it b4

    It may not be such a good idea to take a picture directly into the sun using a digital as I believe you can damage your CCD. I find it generally best to just sort of hide the sun behind something if possible.

    If my cam gets damaged then I will need a new one for crimbo
    Seriously I did'nt know it could damage it, I have taken Hundreds looking into the sun. (mainly early morning or at sunset)

    You can get filters to protect against that sort of thing, if your camera will take them of course.

    Then again, sounds like you may be on to a winner with the Christmas plan
