Nero & Burning prob on laptop

Hi

I have a toshiba laptop with DVD-ROM/CD-R model no SD-R2512. I saved an image on Nero 5 burning rom and cannot burn the image on a cd. in nero, it says the device is a "virual device" only when i choose to select drive from the toolbar. i tried dragging an dropping the image thru windows onto the cd icon and it just burnt the image onto the cd.

doh!

any ideas coz its pissing me off! argh :grr: :grr:

What operating system are you running on, is it XP?
If it is, have you recently downloaded the XP service pack, if you have, Nero doesn't like it, you'll need download the latest driver updates.
I'm running Nero 6 and had similar problems, once I downloaded the updates everthing was fine.
