Default clering domains folder in reg edit

ive noticed when i did a regedit search for something (blazefind) that had been spotted by adaware, a whole host of sites; coolwebsearch and some others within the domain folder accessed through regedit, there are too many to individually delete. thought that clearing cookies would have cured this but hasnt. how can i delete the whole contents of this folder quickly ? hope this makes sense

Info Re: clering domains folder in reg edit

The easiest way is to delete the entire key and then recreate the key which will be empty. I would suggest that you export the contents of the key before hand though, just in case you need to re-import it.

The applications will still be able to reference it and write to it this way.

As Microsoft would say though, I would be very cautious of deleting this directly from your registry unless your sure that they aren't necessary.

I would suggest making sure your ad-aware definitions are up to date, and also try other applications such as SpyBot Search and Destroy.

    Hope this helps.
