Hi all im currently using a bt voyager 105 ADSL modem with aol on windows xp but it keeps saying a network cable is unplugged when its not! ive tried a few things 2 fix it but with no luck

Might have been a good idea to make your first post in the Introduce Yourself section rather than in here.
Anyway, the reason you are getting a "Network Cable Unplugged" message is because you don't have a network cable plugged in to your network card.
Double click on the Network icon in your taskbar, select Properties, and remove the tick from the box that says "Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity"

Do you have your machine networked to another? The reason I ask is because I have two computers networked together via a network cable. My pc is the host machine and when the other comp is turned off I get that message. It hasnt been a problem for me, both computers have always worked fine being networked.
nope just one computer seems to be ok at the moment might just be a dodgy connection somewhere!
