Can Any Tell Me How To Put 2 Dvd's On To 1 Dvd, I'm Not On About Films

I Have Got These 2 Dvd's Of My Kids, One From Last Christmas And One From There Birthdays,

What I Want To Do Is Put Them Both On To One Dvd,

What Software Should I Use?
And How Do I Do It?

There are loads of ways to do it but in short you will need to :-

extract the video from the 2 dvd's

if they wont both fit on 1 dvd then re-encode them to reduce the size down

burn them onto a new dvd.

Have a look at vcdhelp.com, there is no easy point click burn option to this I dont think.

Can't you use DVD shrink to compress the buggers down to 2 4.7gig jobbies and then burn them onto a dual layer disc?

Or if no dual layer then compress futher? Not sure how much that would affect the quality though......

yeh that would be one way but I can think of 100 other ways to do it as well.
