Hi,
We are in the process of getting our first satellite system (other than $ky, NTL etc), quite a few people have recommended the Dreambox. Everywhere I've seen say it's really hard to setup but it's good if you have good IT skills. From what I've seen it doesn't look too hard, networking it to the PC etc.
But with it, is it best to get a motorised dish? Also is it worth getting it with an 120gb HD? Or do we only need that if we want to record?
Basically my dad only wants it to get as many channels as he can. It has the dragon cam embedded I think, will this allow me to get quite a few channels. I'll be using it for all the extra's it does.
I think we're willing to spend around the £500 mark. There's a few DB systems with motorised disshes, on this site within our budget.

Are they worth it? Or is it best to get something else for that price? Also is there anywhere in the West Midlands that sell these types of setups, or can we only get them online?
Cheers in advance.
PS: I'm a newbie in all this so no big words please
