Windows Sharepoint Services hosts?

Can anyone point me towards a company who offer hosting of WSS Sharepoint sites? I've only found one and their prices were not cheap to say the least!

Now you're asking! Not sure exactly but it works on a .net framework and is made up of web parts and asp.net components. I know it requires Windows Server 2003, a web server running ASP.net, IIS 6.0 and uses SQL Server 2000.

Your not going to find anything cheap mate because of the prices Microsoft charge for enterprise SQL licenses. Unless of course you can install sharepoint onto another database engine such as mysql.

Your probably best looking at renting a hosted server and then installing/licensing sharepoint yourself, but it wont be cheap >70.00 per month just for the server. http://www.simply.com/servers.html

Otherwise look for an alternative to sharepoint. What features do you need?

A company who I use for my personal e-mail hosting offer Sharepoint services also.

The website is www.1and1.co.uk I have to say the service I have received has been excellent and I have a number of friends who also use this service.

Obvioulsy, I can't accurately comment regarding the server hosting or sharepoint services, but I hope this is helpful.

I would also point out that you can buy from www.1and1.com for the same price in dollars as you pay in sterling.

I don't think that this should be a problem, but I haven't tried it as I only found the US site after my purchase.
