Help Pda with sat nav help please

I'm looking to get a pda to be used mainly for sat nav and so am looking what to buy.
Basically all I need is a system so that I can deliver motors from one place to another that is an 'all in one' so I don't have to carry about loads of addons.

I really haven't a clue when it comes to such things so need a bit of an idea.

After a good chat with a top df member on irc I have been given some very good information but could do with a few more pointers.

I have looked around and would really require one that has an integrated gps receiver, voice navigation and re-route planning should I go wrong.

I have learned that the voice and re-routing stuff is down to the software and I have got tomtom3 ready to go onto it.

I also need a car cradle for it.

But what hardware do you think is recommended for what I need?

The price isn't really a major factor but as reasonable as possible would be a bonus.

    Any help appreciated

    thanx

Tom Tom Go sounds like it ticks all your boxes. They're cheap at currys atm I think.

Otherwise I'd recommend a BT PDA + BT GPS Receiver and a *free* copy of Tom Tom

About a month ago there was a deal at aldi that would have suited you urbs. They had this handset: with added memory which was loaded with UK maps & a load of cd's containing maps for the rest of europe for £250.

I linked that image from here

Would thoroughly reccomend a tomtom go mate!

    Read the review here:
    http://s105883597.websitehome.co.uk/...d.php?t=204827

Great Price (just shy of £400 atm I beleive) maps, can use speed camera databases, no wires, long battery life (and with car charger), neat looking and robust.

Driving through and round central london, I couldn't do without it mate!! Get one NOW!!

I would have bought a TOM TOM Go ages ago, but they don't do Ireland North or South - apart from some on the 'major roads of europe' disk.

Shame - I had a play with one in Belfast airport and it looked quite good - couldn't find any addresses over here and the bloke behind the counter was just getting embarassed so I walked off.
