I use tesco online, have done for a while now.

I'm a lazy arse when it comes to shopping, but there's nothing like ordering one day and the next morning having 70 odd quids worth of shopping and beer delivered to your door, no annoying oaps, kids, people taking their time, having to carry stuff, queuing, etc :thumbs

I do miss picking up the odd bargains and stalking fit birds, but I can live without them

Sains, i am in Bath all of our shops are SO SMALL. but it is close, ok. Other local shops are Witrose and M&S, nice but too much money.

    I need a decent Hypermarket.

I try to avoid all supermarkets and opt for local farmers markets etc for my fruit, veg, meat and cheese etc. Of course there are some things I still have to get from them but I try and keep it to a minimum as far as food is concerned.

any reason why you aviod them all?

Don't you find local markets expensive or is it actually cheaper to go there?

I only found out that the cheapest place to get cheese was tesco's deli...it's much nicer than the value blocks too + you save a few quid if you get enough...my house cains a lot of cheese, it's great stuff! not that we were talking about cheese but ah well.

Supermarkets are the work of satan m8, why would anyone choose to shop somewhere where they spend millions designing their floorspace and layout in order to trick you into buying shit you didn't want, that'll make you either fat or ill and that they've basically robbed from farmers, often from 3rd world countries.

They are using very discreet and sophisticated physcological methods to get the cash out of your pocket, I'd call that mugging or at best fraud.

Now wait for all the wiseguys to say...........'but I only buy what I want, no one influences my shopping decisions', yeah, just like TV adverts don't influence their shopping habits either.

i buy my meat from a butchers but get just about everything else from asda or m&s.

used to get most of my stuff from sainsbury's but firstly they stopped selling just about everything i used to buy, replacing it with their inferior own brand stuff at the same price then later addind shit to it that i didnt want and call it it taste the difference and actualy making it more expensive, that coupled with hardly ever having stock and the fact that asda was open 24 hours was why i switched.

well done ABCMan, living in Bath we do have many good butchers here. While i totally agree it si best to get meat from these places it seems particularly expensive here (used to live in Reading, had a long street market, Veg, Meat, Fish, Fruit (smelly alley))

I just cant deal with these prices.

I totally agree with your comments, sains stock around here is a knightmare and if it not for the fact we have very little choice I would also swap.

We do have a Safeway (morrisons) but it is too far to walk and do a weeks shop.

    Cheers.....Q

    morrisons = reformed ham depot

M&S and Sainsbury's for me. Sometimes Asda as they are closer to work. At a push I will shop at Tesco but the only Tesco around me is a Tesco Express which has f*ck all stock most of the time - but their "Finest" pizzas are pretty good

I use asda online if possible. I hate shopping and if I go in person I always end up buying much more than we need. I can spend £20 -£30 before i pick up any food.
