007 nuts peer within. 'Shaken not stirred' - why?

Some time ago someone was telling me that James Bond ordered vodka martinis 'shaken not stirred' because in a Fleming novel the bartender tried to kill Jimbo with a vodka Martini which was stirred.

Is this correct and does anyone know in which novel it appears?

I've done a fair bit of internet searching and there are a lot of vodka martini 'connoisseur's talking out of their ass.

Any help would be appreciated
