Hey guys,

I use MSN Messenger, its what i was first introduced to when i got my first 'puter and just gained contacts thru it.

never used yahoo or Aol religiously, only if i need to speak to someone and thats all they got.

so what messenger do u use and why? :nowords:

I would say just about everyone use's MSN, although i find IRC is a much better way of communication but people are too lazy to learn how to use it :tongue

msn if i need to get someone specific or quickly. IRC most of the time for general chit-chat.

One of the big plus points was that for a fee, you could use Instant Messenging between all 3 of the big players systems, with say just MSN.

On a related topic, can I use my Hotmail address with Yahoo Messenger?

dont really use messengers much now.

when i was younger i used to use MSN to chat to girls i met in the MSN chatrooms. (fell free to flame, but i was only 14!)
Now MSN have shut there chatrooms (and..erm.. im a grown up:whistle ) i only really use AOL, coz most my pals have it.

I use irc, msn, yahoo and AIM. I use all of them except irc on gaim (http://gaim.sf.net) which is a free client that connects you to nearly every chat protocol there is.

I use msn cos everyone else does and icq cos theres 1 or 2 that prefer not to use MSN

I use trillian because its got a great interface and you can use MSN, AIM, Yahoo and ICQ all with one program.

thing that bugs me is you got to ask the user to delete you on msn
but yahoo can just delete them :thumbs

used to use Trillian, was cool, but i only ever used MSN on it, so went back to MSN only, does the job, simple interface, even though it may be bloatware.
