cdcovers.cc to close for good?

just been speaking to a m8 who is a regular uploader to cd.cc and he said they have had threats to shut down or be prosecuted can anyone confirm this or is this wrong info? this would be a nightmare to thousands of people who use the service and another nail in the coffin for free speech.

i know a couple of years ago they had some problems but they got rid of a few things then and it seemed to be sorted, sounds like the same problems again if anything

Not used the site personally for a while since it became full of crap and hard to navigate. But there are plenty more sites out there with same content. So dont worry about that....as for your mate uploading...guess if it is true then he will have to look elsewhere, as once they target you for Piracy or what ever reasons, thats it, your gone

I still use it for dvd covers but it's shit for cd covers - there are better places out there for those but as for dvd covers it does a good job!

try mega-search.net - this seaches the most common cover sites for you and shows who has what!

they got forced to remove all thier audio covers ages ago didnt they, so why didnt they try shut em down al together then??

I have to agree it wouldn't be much of a loss. It's a pain to navigate, and 99% of their covers are awful quality.
