im guessing this is because the mp3 file has been recorded using VBR. mp3's encoded using VBR dont work on some phones, this wouldnt work on my sharp 902 so i converted it to "normal" mp3 128 kbps and it now works fine, the file size does go up considerably though to 1.12mb.
