PC Re: New DIVX DVD Player £39.99

fcuk it, just ordered one - price is actually £39.00

pricerunner have good reviews of this supplier, though I guess how good they are remains to be seen

There is very scant info and reviews around for this player, as it is quite new, and was only made available for sale about a month ago. It's predecessor, the DX3220 seems to be quite well regarded from the reviews that I have seen

I've been beating myself over the head for missing the smiths player, so hopefully this one will be up to par too.

Nice one lloydi - a nice warm dose of flump karma for you chap

Seems to be a little better as my skyworth has no buttons to the top right.

Perhpas you can eject this one with out using the crappy controller...but otherwise functionality is great...

bought another one for upstairs, cheers mate.

ah nuts, probly means we're not gonna get it then

lloydi, did you actually find this yourself, and only post it here? Or is it taken from somewhere else, and probably all over the net by now?

Hope you don't mind me asking.

yeah, apparently he was a bit of a knob. I say 'apparently', because I didn't actually speak to him - my gf answered my mobile, and left a message with her, which I am pretty pissed off about.

Fcuking incompetants, anyone could have picked up the phone, they should have asked me to call back. :grr:

been digging around, ebuyer is great!

    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=64760

    DK Digital 915 MPEG4/DIVX DVD Player -

    £37.43
    £43.99 inc VAT

    or

    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=82115

    Umax/Yamada DVX-6700 Mpeg4 DVD Player

    £41.71
    £49.01 inc VAT

I am going to get the 6700 it looks like a wicked machine. I've got to wait and save a little more cash though. Both seem to do multiregion, DVD, DivX, Xvid and all the other regular stuff...I spent a good few hours looking for these and umming and arring over getting them.

well i've been searching like a mofo recently - the 2 ebuyer players, and that amazon one seem to be the cheapest, while still being good quality (from reviews anyway).

What's gutting, is the distinct lack of good value players at the mo - amazon.de have a yakumo divx player (good make, i have the standard player, its the nuts), for about £40! Would have snapped it up in a second....but it aint available over here
