im really stuck

hi firstly i dont know where to start,i have recently bought a laptop and it been down hill the past few days there is a thing called content advisor on my internet, it asks for a password every time i try to open a page an i havent got a clue how to turn it off any help please.

secondly i am running xp and my start bar is grey like the old windows any one have any ideas how to change, last but not my help and support does not work it says the sevice needs to be started if any any one has any ideas about any of these i would grately appreciate it thanks in advance :|

Open Internet Explorer on any page, Then go to tools on your bar at the top then internet options.
A dialog box should come up, on the tabs at the top of it there is one called content disable the content advisor .

For your grey startr bar click on Start - Settings - Control Panel
Switch to 'Classic View' if not already chosen.
Select Display
On the Themes tab select 'Windows XP'
This will reset the Theme to the Standard Windows XP setting.
This will change anything you have customized theme wise.

Click Start -> Run-> Type 'services.msc' press enter.

scroll down to Help and Support, double click it and change startup type to automatic and then click start.
