As an Arsenal fan who has just witnessed Arsenal get beat by Bolton, i would just like to congratulate Chelsea on winning the Barclays Premier League.

As a ManU fanatic of 30 years, I agree.
Hate to admit it but I agree, no-ones catching them now.

I aint saying nothing :tongue

I just can't see Chelsea slipping up now they have quality in there large team (money talks)
:thumbs
What a great game today ehh Ad?
Just shows money can buy you the League title, not sure about all the other trophies they are looking for but with a squad of that size and quality of players there should be no issues with them tiring towards the end.
It isn’t over till the fat lady sings but she is defiantly clearing her throat.
United tried to buy the title a few years ago and ended up selling almost all the players they bought in but when your budget is pretty much unlimited just look what you can do.
Come on you whites :thumbs
Jack Walker and Blackburn showed us that!!Originally Posted by Little John
Chelsea can beat 3 times and still win the league. They wont win it by 10 points but it wouldnt suprise me for the league to be wrapped up by mid april.
its not over, teams have thrown away bigger leads... Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds etc etc

Maybe,... but those teams, and recently both United and Arsenal, have lost leads because of the disruption Injuries and suspentions to Key players have had on the first team.Originally Posted by maltloaf
Who was there to replace Campbell and Vieira? or Rio and Keane?.... Chelsea have a far better backup for each of their first choice players than anyone else has ever had.... Lampard and Terry wouldn't be missed as badly if they were out.
Time to admit it, Chelsea will probably win the title for as long as football remains the hobby of the Bank of Russia
Still, Buying Success was the ONLY way Chelsea were ever gonna win the league :tongue
but remember all the man utd fans saying they wouldnt win it with all the money anyway (when abramovic first came) only one year later and its there.
But who would replace Terry and Lampard??? They have the current best players in influencing the results for them but if they are injured a player comes in but doesnt have the influence and command that those 2 bring. If terry gets banned for his comment we shall soon see how good their defence is.
Chelsea will be in deep trouble if they lose Lampard, Terry and Robben
Also I'm sure I heard all of this when Newcastle where so far clear of Man Utd at this point, what happened next ?
Also Fred Done paid out all bets at about this time to customers who backed Man Utd to win the League when they were like 12 points clear of Arsenal, what happened next ?
It aint over yet but Arsenal and Man Utd have to hit one hell of a spell to catch up
Im a Bolton fan.
Arsenal were shite.
Chelsea i think will go on to win the Prem.
Doesn't every Premiership club try to 'buy' the title?
I'm no expert, but aren't teams these days full of players they have bought, not talented kids from the local school? I'm sure peeps will spout how they're favourite team has indeed got a great youth policy or whatever, but if you're team is looking to win big, it goes out and buys big (within it's means).
Yes, Chelsea have been given access to a ton more cash than most, but the way I see it is they've just done in a couple of seasons what most clubs take years to do. Same as.
And I fail to believe any other club out there wouldn't mind a ton of cash to do the same......
And anyway, they certainly weren't doing shit before Abramovich came along. A few cups here and there, a 2nd place finish a few seasons ago which lead to a quarter finals place in the Champions League on their first attempt.
Now all they need to do is 'buy' the other 3 and it's £660 (66/1) in my back pocket!
If you can smell it, it's in your mouth.

I agree, but theres a difference between paying £10m for a player whos worth £10m and paying £24m for a player whos worth £12m....Originally Posted by CominAtcha
