xbox 3 way adapters

Need one for my TV cos am sick of constantly changing scart leads into the back of my pc. But I've been told I need a special 3 way adapter because the cheap ones mean that all other devices must be switched off (tht are connected to the adapter) in order for the desired device to work onto the TV. Sorry if that sounds confusing but does anyone know where I can get one from on the cheap? Ebay? Cheers
