infinity usb phoenix prog

hi guys! this is my first post and i could really do with some help. just bought an infinity usb phoenix, got myself some FUN5 cards (blank) and thought i'd try to program them. I have all the hex files etc needed to write but when i write amessage comes up saying:

'status: Error - Could not write to device'

any ideas how i can overcome this. pleeeeeeeeeease.

What fun card is it Fun2 Fun4 Fun5 etc also have you checked that the programer is not in pheonix mode also some times you will get a programming error for example
you are programming a fun2 card and have selected fun4 in the card selection also
to program a fun you do not need to connect your serial cable as that is only for
programming and Reading MOSC Cards. Also make sure you erase your card before
programming, hope this helps

Guys this is introduce yourself section. So unless you want to get banned, dont ask these questions here... contribute 10 posts in different sections and then u can ask these questions in the correct section..

Usually people get fried for asking these questions so just appologise and start again.
