carnt you just export all your emails to a pst file. Copy that to the laptop and then import.
'Sausages! Hot sausages! Inna bun! Meat pies! Get them while they're hot!'
... Hole food! Hole food! Rat! Rat! Rat-onna-stick! Rat-in-a-bun! Get them while they're dead!'

If your running the same version of Outlook on both machines, you can export your mail settings as well. Just run the import / export wizard from outlook and hey presto.. First export your Personal mail folders (it will generate a .pst file), then export your mail settings too ( Can't for the life of me remember the file extension), load the same version of outlook onto you laptop and then run the inport / export wizard on that machine. Import both files, it doesn't matter which order. When your done you should have a exact replica of of you inbox along with all settings on both machines. Periodically export both files to a folder and burn to disk in case of a major system crash..
I do mine once a week, any problems and I don't lose much. Oh don't forget that if you archive your folders, to export them as well, as export to a .pst will only export the current folders you specify.

If your are running different versions of utlook you will only be able to export the .pst file.

    Hope this helps.
