    Default Everton v Chelsea

    1-0 to the Super Blues!
Good battling game. Everton did well to keep out Chelsea after Beattie got sent of so early and so stupidly early on. Pitch seemed to be a nightmare to play on. Everton should be a very good bet for the fourth spot with displays like that.

Yeah think so. What an idiot he was too. First time I've ever been to Goodison where we never had a proper shot on goal, and I blame Mr Beattie for ruining the game!

i like his interview after the match, "no, didnt headbut him, was no intention at all" etc... cobblers.

He tried to do it TWICE, first intent then he actually got him in the back o the head, player did go down way to easy tho

Shame everton lost, they played strong, but bloody chelsea got that easy goal, shame for martin as she did some superb keeping

Mike Riley was right to send him off...like you say he tried to do it twice. Post match interview "If I'd have headbutted him he'd have stayed down a lot longer than that"

Beattie and Cahill (5th yellow) are suspended for the Man U game next week. Hope their bans don't upset Everton's impressive form this season. I thought they'd be on the downward turn once Gravesen left but they fight on! Beattie spoiled what could have been a real end-to-end game.

We're gonna get a hiding on Saturday. No Hibbert, Beattie, Osman or Cahill.

Am off to the game. Tickets went on general sale today, Absolutely no priority for Evertonians without season tickets who have other ticket stubs from previous games, just went straight from season ticket holders to general sale, tickets on sale from our official ticket website.Tons of Manu fans all over the ground. Add in the late kick off time (all day drinking) and the Rooney factor, I fear there'll be tons of violence. Let's hope the BBC cameras don't pick anything bad up
