JPEGS always saving as a BMP

I get this problem all the time, JPEGS images will save as Bitmap. So I need to keep deleting my IE cache to cure the problem. Why does this keep happening.

'Cos your cache keeps filling. There's an article on the M$ site about how to keep your cache from filling. To do with regular housekeeping.

Ive had this before when i had a bad plugin installed.
Click on Tools-->Internet Options
In the Temporary Internet Files section click Settings then View Objects

Remove all the ones that are not listed as installed (Right click, Remove).

... and as the M$ article says remove all those marked as "damaged" too.

Brilliant, i have noticed this problem recently, thought nothign of it. But now i see an answer will certainyl look into getting it sorted. Cheers.....Q
