    That is incredibly bizarre..

The only thing i can think of is tomorrow evening forward the clock in the car to 00:30, lock the car and wait to see if it goes off at 00:33 at least if it goes off then you know it's based around something wrong with your car and not a neighbours infrared tv turning off at 00:33 every morning. (for example)

btw you're going to be awake in 7 mins time it's 00:26

did you get a a "key" for the alarm which lets you completly turn it off?

if so try resetting the alarm.

if it's anything like a '95 model the little key just turns off the audio to the alarm, not the whole alarm.

So you might wake up to a flat battery in the morning cos it's been flashing the indicators all night.

the only thing to try really is to disconnect the battery leave it for 10mins and put it back on to see if it clears any electrical gremlins (make sure you have a code for the radio if it needs one)

or leave it on a friends place and see if it goes off at the same time..

My guess is it's someones tv/radio turning on/off that is setting it off.. or their house alarm arms something by infrared at the same time.

If this is the case you might be able to get bmw to change the frequency..

I have a 96 with BMW alarm but mine isnt infa red so not sure if this info will help.

When was the last time you checked the battery? the alarm tends to keep setting off if the battery is dying and if you have a certain routine i.e the car is not used after 8pm everyday or something then maybe the battery is getting to trigger point at 0:33 just a thought as when my battery died on a sunday evening of all times the alarm kept going off every so often.

Also try to move the sensors in the car the ones on the side of the windscreen and some alarms have a sensitivity setting on the alarm box under the passenger kick panel might have to make it less sensitive.

To top it all off you sure nothing has got in to the car a mouse or something that comes out same time at night and sets alarm off? just a thought after this women actually had a squirell deposit nuts in her air box on a merc.

Not as strange as you think , common fault the alarm you have is a current sense alarm and the bmw ecu self checks every 24hrs thus causing the alarm to trigger turn millivolt sensing off and all should be ok for the false alarm factor allthough you may now have to wire the doors direct for the alarm to function properly
